At JID, we want to serve as a concierge for our customers and create a fair and impartial society.
JID was founded in 1995 with the purpose of creating a society where anyone can have peace of mind in finding a home to live in, without unfair prejudice. We’re proud to be Japan’s first rental guarantee company, and we deal with problems in the real estate industry and guarantee industry straight on. Based on our universal company philosophy, “to contribute to the creation of a society that is fair and impartial for all people,” we offer each and every customer peace of mind, and act as a partner that anyone can trust to provide new added value as we stay up-to-date on social trends.
We're involved in a variety of initiatives as a company that strives toward a society where people can live in peace of mind.
Walk-in Center Expansion
By learning the consultation specifics and wishes of customers and agencies in an environment where people are free to consult with us at any time, we are able, for example, to connect customers who visit JID offices with agencies that can help them. We mutually share information with agencies and are diversifying our marketing channels.
We would like to express our appreciation for all the wonderful tenants (lessees) who have used JID these many years. Additionally, we are donating novelty gifts to elementary schools located near our headquarters and in areas that have been damaged by natural disasters.
Tombstones for Deceased People with No Living Relatives
We’ve established a permanent cemetery at Saifuku-ji Temple near our headquarters. In the unfortunate case that a renter (lessee) passes away without living relatives, or a renter (lessee) who was keeping the ashes of a deceased family member, we will inter the ashes of the deceased or of the family member.
Support Activities Related to the Great East Japan Earthquake
Immediately following the Great East Japan Earthquake, we at JID checked on the safety of renters (lessees) in the stricken areas. Additionally, chairman and president Yasushi Isaka donated a ship to the town of Onagawa, Miyagi Prefecture, through an affiliated company. That ship operates as a ferry connecting Onagawa with outlying two islands, for doctors to provide medical care.
Western Japan Flooding Aid Activities
When western Japan experienced torrential rain in 2018, we donated 10 million yen each to the cities of Kurashiki, Okayama and Mihara, Hiroshima in order to aid the damaged regions.
We received an award at the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon and Certificate of Merit ceremony held at the Kurashiki City Hall main office in October 2019 in recognition of these aid activities. We similarly received an award from the City of Mihara.
Note: The Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon is one type of Medal of Honor awarded by the Emperor to individuals who have made personal financial contributions for the well-being of the public.
Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake Aid Activities
When the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake struck, we provided donations in order to aid the damaged regions.
We received a letter of appreciation from the Hokkaido government in April 2019 for these aid activities.
We, the JID Group, want to do whatever we can to help with natural disasters, which have been numerous in recent years, and we intend to continue our cooperation in these activities going forward.
